ASTM A335 P11 Seamless Steel Pipe Manufacturing Process
The manufacturing process of ASTM A335 P11 pipe includes multiple steps:
Smelting: Vacuum induction furnace or electroslag remelting furnace is used for smelting to ensure the quality of molten steel.
Continuous casting: The molten steel is poured into the continuous casting machine for solidification and forming to form a billet.
Rolling: The billet is rolled through multiple passes to form a pipe of the required shape and size.
Heat treatment: The pipe will be subjected to high-temperature tempering treatment to improve its mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
