Alloy 20 Pipe Applications

Due to its superior corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, Alloy 20 pipes are mainly used in the following fields:
Chemical and petrochemical industries: used for equipment and pipelines for handling corrosive chemicals such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and nitric acid.
Pharmaceutical industry: used for equipment for the production of antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals.
Food processing: used for food and beverage processing equipment, especially in environments with corrosive cleaners and disinfectants.
Plastic industry: used for equipment and pipelines for the manufacture of vinyl chloride monomer production.
Other highly corrosive environments: such as papermaking, textiles, dyes and metal processing industries.

Alloy 20 Pipe Manufacturing Process

The manufacturing process of Alloy 20 pipe generally includes the following steps:
Raw material preparation: Select alloy ingots that meet the standards.
Heating: Heat the alloy ingot to a suitable temperature.
Piercing: Use a piercing machine to make the alloy ingot into a hollow rough tube.
Rolling: Through multiple hot rolling and cold rolling processes, the rough tube is rolled to the required size and wall thickness.
Heat treatment: Including processes such as solution treatment to improve the organization and performance of the material.
Inspection: The pipe is subjected to multiple inspections such as chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing, and non-destructive testing to ensure that the product meets the standard requirements.
